A Professor at Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. I have graduated from Surabaya Institute of Technology, hold a Bachelor’s of Architecture (B. Arch.), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northrop University, Los Angeles, USA, a Master of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning (MLA) from The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, and a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from University of South Australia, Adelaide. 

I am a Professional Architect (Ar.), Landscape Architect and An Ecological Planner which is based on Ecologically Sustainable Development.

Zainuddin was born in Pulo Lueng Teuga, 04 June 1973. He has finishedhis first graduate degree in Architecture at University of Sumatera Utara (USU) Medan in 1998. Then, in 2003 he got his Master Degree in Urban Planning at School Housing Building and Planning, University Science Malaysia (USM) Penang, Malaysia. 

Zainuddin joined as a Lecturer at University of Syiah Kuala on 01 January 2008 in Architecture Departement. Then, since 2016 he move to Departement of Urban and Regional Planning. Zainuddin has expertise in Urban Design abd Planning. He teaches subjects namely Planning Proccess, Communication and Prensentation Techniques,etc

Ar. Riza Aulia Putra, S.T., M.T., born in Darussalam, August 1990, is a lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Department of Architecture, Universitas Syiah Kuala (2008–2012), and his Master’s degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture, Planning, and Policy Development, Institut Teknologi Bandung (2013–2015)

His research and publications focus on Acehnese traditional and vernacular architecture, particularly its spatial, structural, and cultural dimensions. He has taught several architecture courses, including Architectural Design Studio, Architectural Communication Techniques, Site Planning, and Building Structure and Construction Studio.

Born in Matanggeulumpang Dua on 28 September 1961. Status as Senior Lecturer of Architecture of Syiah Kuala University, Architecture Science field

Beginning in 1988 was appointed as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Syiah Kuala-Banda Aceh. Bachelor degree of education (S1) was completed in ITS-Surabaya in 1986 in Architecture study program. In 1989 completed the Master’s program (S2) in UKM-Malaysia.

Haiqal is the first son of Mr. Amiruddin bin Puteh and Mrs. Siti Safura binti M. Sarif. He was born on Weh Island – Sabang City – Aceh – Indonesia on August 12, 1979

He graduated from elementary school at SD Pertiwi – Sabang City (1986-1992), then junior high school at SMP Negeri 1 Sabang (1992-1995). He attended high school at SMU Modal Bangsa Aceh (1995), then continued his education at SMU Negeri 1 Sabang (1996-1998) until he graduated.

Zulhadi Sahputra, ST, MT is a lecturer at Architecture & Planning Department, Engineering Faculty, University of Syiah Kuala. Zulhadi has been parts of Multimedia Laboratorium as well as Design and Structural Modelling Laboratoriums since 2013. 

Obtained the Bachelor Degree of Architecture 2008 at Architecture & Planning Department, Engineering Faculty, University of Syiah Kuala, Zulhadi was granted scholarship of Beasiswa Unggulan Dikti on 2011 and accomplished his Master Program of Architectural Design at Institut Teknologi Bandung on 2013. 

Dr. Ir. Ar. Safwan, M. Eng., IAI, was born in Bireuen on 1 January 1970, is a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Planning at Universitas Syiah Kuala. He graduated from ITS (Institut Teknologi Surabaya) in 1995 and earned a Master’s degree in Design (2002) and Doktor of Design (2005) from the Faculty of Design at Kyushu University, Japan.

Irfandi was born in Banda Aceh on December 23, 1978. He complated undergraduate program in 2002 at Architecture Engineering Department of Syiah Kuala University. In 2002, he was appointed as Lecturer in Architecture Department of Syiah Kuala University. In the year 2007 – 2009, he studied at Postgraduate Program in Urban Design at School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development, Institute Technology Bandung (ITB).

 He currently a member of the Town Planning Laboratory and the research focuses on achitecture, urban design, urban heat island, riverfront city, place attachment, and ecology design

I am Ir. Nizarli, M.Eng was born in Banda Aceh on November 27, 1964. Nip. 196411271991021001. Since 1983 I continued my Bachelor’s degree in ITS Surabaya at the Faculty of Engineering majoring in Architecture and I completed in 1989.  Subsequently, in 1995 I continued my master’s degree at Osaka University Japan, and completed in 1998. 

I am now a lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University since 1991, and the field of science I am currently working on is Architecture Science.

The field of study that I have engaged in so far is architecture Science.  in the Institue of Sepuluh Nopember, this field is better known as the environment architecture. There are two semesters designing projects with environmental themes, such as green architecture and so on.

ARDIAN ARIATSYAH, ST.MT was born in Kota Madya SABANG, Province Aceh, Indonesia on September 15, 1969. He is a lecturer at the Department of Architecture and Planning. He completed my Bachelor’s Engineering degree in 1995, and finished Master of Engineering in 1997 from ITS (the Institute Technology Sepuluh November), Surabaya-Indonesia, both in Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architectural Planning in the field of architecture.

 His joined Syiah Kuala University as Lecture in the Faculty of Engineering, in March 1999. He researches interests in Environmental Design of Architecture.

Era was born in Banda Aceh, on November 7th, 1986. She is an alumnus of the Architecture department, engineering faculty of Syiah Kuala University in 2009. Later, she continued her master’s degree at National United University in Miaoli, Taiwan. She graduated from Architecture Department as well in 2012. Her research is related to landscape design and mitigation of tsunami disasters.

She is also interested in drawing skills and architecture presentation technics. On the other hand, she participates in various workshops such as modelling structure practices, digital architecture software and vernacular drawing method. She is currently a lecturer at the Architecture Department of Engineering Faculty, Universitas Syiah Kuala.

I’m Teuku Ivan, ST. MT. born in Banda Aceh in 1968. I completed my undergraduate degree in 1996 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning Department of Architecture at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya (ITS). Continuing S2 education at University of Sumatera Utara (USU) in Master Program of Architecture Study in City Development Management was completed in 2010

Until now, I am active as a lecturer at Faculty of Engineering Department of Architecture Unsyiah. Currently served as chairman of Bond Architects of Indonesia Province of Aceh. 

Hilda Mufiaty became a lecturer at Architecture Department Engineering Faculty, Syiah Kuala University, right after she finished her Bachelor degree in Architecture from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Medan, Indonesia in 1998. She undertook her Master degree in Built Environment (Sustainable Development) at The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. 

She teaches Architecture Design Method, Sustainable Architecture, History and Theory of Architecture and supervises student’s work at Architecture Design Studios. Her research interests are sustainable architecture, green building design and planning, and disaster responsive design and planning. She is also member of the Australia Awards Alumni Reference Group (ARG) in Indonesia

I Mirza Born in Meunasah Dayah on December 16, 1962 is a lecturer of Faculty of Engineering Unsyiah Department of Architecture, Graduate of S1 Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning at Architecture Program at Institute of Technology November 10, Surabaya in 1989, and S2 Masters of Engineering Syiahkuala University of Transportation. 

My S2 thesis is related to ground transpostation. The main subjects I teach at Jurusa Architecture Unsyiah are: Traffic Management, Structure of Constituents and Materials 1 and 2.

 In 2023 completed the doctoral program (S3) field of expertise in architecture science. Currently status as a permanent lecturer in the position of Head Lecturer, Gol.IV C / Pembina Utama Muda. Teaching the subjects of Architecture Science, Building Utilities, Environmental Architecture, Architecture Introduction, coordinator of design seminar, coordinator of Architectural Design 6 and final project coordinator
